ABOUT THE EVENT
Experience your best hill Climb event ever in Niseko
Niseko HANAZONO Hill CLimb is a hillclimb event in early August every year in Niseko, Hokkaido.
The wide range of race category makes easier for everyone to participate from the beginners to advanced with fun.
After the race, a down hill ride towards Kutchan town awaits which you will also feel scenic views of Hokkaido.
Not just the race, this event is held together with local festival 'Kuthcan Jaga-matsuri'.
Come visit with you families and stay for few days to enjoy the weekend in Niseko with fun of race, local festival and also for some rafting and other summer activities!
The total distance of the course about 16km. The average grade is about 4.6%.
Bike parade starts from Kutchan community hall (altitude 179m) and ride through the Kutchan potato festival venue.
Kutchan Jaga-Matsuri is a local festival of Kutchan town.
'Jaga' stands for potato which Kutchan town is famous for.
In 2020, the fesival will held its 58th event with Niseko HANAZONO Hill Climb.
