To All Participants

Every year, many riders visit Niseko to preview the Niseko HANAZONO Hill Climb course.

However, we also receive complaints from local residents regarding rider etiquette during these practice rides.

This event is made possible through the understanding and cooperation of the local community.

To help ensure the event can continue for many years to come, we kindly ask all participants to demonstrate good sportsmanship and observe proper cycling etiquette and traffic rules at all times.

Please note that if any of the following violations are observed during a practice ride, you may be disqualified from participating in this year's event. In such cases, entry fees will not be refunded.

Practice Ride Guidelines

1. Do not ride side by side.

2. Do not litter under any circumstances.

3. Obey all traffic laws, including traffic signals and road signs.

4. Show consideration for motorists and pedestrians.

5. Do not make unsafe overtaking maneuvers or sudden lane changes.

To ensure you can perform at your best on race day, please prioritize your safety during practice rides and take every precaution to avoid accidents and injuries.

Thank you for respecting the local community and helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
